Migration is a journey animals take to a familiar place at a certain time or season for a specific reason.
Some animals do this in Winter to escape the cold and find food. Many birds migrate South in Fall, and come back up North in Spring.
Other animals migrate only once in their lives, like when Pacific salmon travel back to the place they were born to lay their eggs.
